Additionally it is feasible that bisexual women’s arousal patterns change from those seen in heterosexual females. In line with this possibility, current studies claim that females with bisexual passions are far more stimulated by feminine than by male erotic stimuli 23 25 . Possibly for a few ladies with female-biased arousal habits, this bias can encourage non-heterosexual emotions, behavior, and identification.
Interpretations of non-specific patterns that are arousal women are further complicated by the fact female vaginal arousal displays reasonably low correlations with subjectively reported intimate arousal, in contrast to the high correlations seen in guys 26 . Discrepancies between current genital and subjective measures suggest that some ladies may report substantial subjective arousal without substantial vaginal arousal, and the other way around. It has in addition been recommended that non-specific arousal habits may well not suggest affective reactions to erotic stimuli, but may rather mirror some sort of protective preparatory reaction 27 .
